Today, I partially finished the goal I set yesterday. I wrote the planning for the video and the scripts for my voiceover. I recorded my interview. However, due to the long process of the video analysis, my teammates were not able to finish the interview, so they will give it to me tomorrow through email. Yesterday’s reflection gave me a goal and abstracted steps of what I should do today, so that I can always check whether I finished my work or not. Over the whole process, there were not much interpersonal conflicts among the group. Most of the time, we were discussing or doing individual work peacefully. This is attributed to the proper communication and condenses goal before the actions days. Sometimes we might have conflicts on some technical details, like “which side should we put the boat in the water” or “what words should we choose for the voiceover”, but after communication and compromise, all the conflicts (or tiny disagreements that cannot be called a “conflict”) were solved in a second.
Tomorrow before the deadline, there is still work for me to do. I need to make sure that everybody else that had not recorded yet submit their recording to me, while the records should fulfill the requirements. Then I need to turn the raw materials into an appealing documentary.
I really appreciated my teammates’ work these days. As I’m not a natural science students, they did all the experiment designing parts and video analysis part, which helped me a lot, and I can as well do the part that I’m best at.
